- Gloves are now required to be worn on the throw hand during official tournaments and highly recommended during the archer's practice times due to reports of severe neck injury.
- As of June, 2017, all competitive team archers will be required to wear identical team jerseys/uniforms to aid and quicken the identification process on the throwing line.
- Arrows must be stored properly and away while the barehand archer is off the throwing line to prevent injury of other archers.
- Team Captains and individual archers must pre-register their team four (4) months before pre-registration opens.
